CCD ATIK camera : new kits and 4000LE ATIK is now offering their cameras in different kits. You can therefore have an autoguiding port as an addition (ATIK 16IC) for a reasonable price. The motorised filter wheel is half price when purchased with a camera. Lastly, the 314L is available with the filter wheel, the ATIK 16IC and 4 LRGB Baader filters (“ATIK Imaging system”). L'ATIK 4000LE has just come out (lower cooling).

Lymax: Cooler system for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes that have the aperture covered by a plate or a meniscus take a considerable greater time to reach ambient temperature. To reduce this 1 to 2 hour delay (depending on the diameter of your telescope), Lymax has produced the SCT Cooler. The time taken to reach ambient temperature is then reduced to a few minutes.

GALILEO Green Laser pointer When showing beginners the night sky, nothing can be better to use than a laser pointer. There are so many stars that look alike that it can be difficult for a beginner to recognise them. Thanks to a laser beam with a range of several kilometres, you can point out the exact star, planet or constellation that you want to identify.
